Peace At All Times…

Dear Friends in Jesus Christ,

I pray that you are rejoicing in the fact that you are greatly loved by God who is watching over you and guiding your life in His will. May we never forget the great sacrifice that our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, made for ALL of us, when He suffered and died on a cruel cross at Calvary. He did that because of His great and mighty love for you and me.

   2 Thessalonians 3:16 reads

“Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.”

The peace we seek in this chaotic world can only be found in Jesus Christ. If you are searching for peace, I encourage you to seek God’s perspective through His Word. Before you turn to ANYTHING this world has to offer, turn to Jesus. He will give you the peace that passes ALL understanding.

In the gospel of John, during the Last Supper, Jesus leaves us with this message:

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; . . . not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid”

(John 14:27). God’s peace is real and available to all who desire it. It is a gift from God and part of His grace. It comes from a continual awareness of Him, of His presence, and from communion with Him through prayer. It is a quiet contentment and joy that comes from knowing God’s peace.

Prayer is the single most important thing we can do to obtain the peace of God inside of us, and to reacquire it if we lose it. When we genuinely seek God, we open ourselves up for an encounter with His Perfect Peace. “Peace be still” is His message in whatever situation you may face. The words from God in the Bible are an ever-present source of peace for your heart, mind and soul.

“Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.”,
